What we collect
When our customers embed the Veriprint agent, we process device and network signals: browser characteristics (canvas, WebGL, fonts, screen, timezone, hardware) and request metadata (IP address, derived geolocation, ASN). We do not collect names, email addresses, or page content. A visitorId is derived from these signals and can qualify as personal data; we treat it accordingly.
How we use it
Signals are used for one purpose: computing a visitor identifier and associated risk flags (bot, VPN, datacenter) for the customer whose API key made the request. We never share or cross-reference signals across customers, never sell data, and never use it for advertising.
Retention and control
Visit history is retained per your plan (7 days on Free, 90 days on Pro, custom on Scale) and deleted after. Customers can delete a visitor's records via the API at any time. Scale customers may self-host, in which case raw signals never reach our infrastructure.
